This giveaway is for a house number, so just for kicks I edited my front door to include a Ramsign house number.

How about the Highlander design with clearly visible black text on a white background:

Or for some fun with color, the Metropolitan design with classic blue enamel and white lettering:

"G" is for Giveaway: The Handbuilt Home

Updated 11/16/12: This giveaway is now closed.

It's no secret I love Ana White and I'm so excited to offer TWO of my lucky readers a free copy of Ana's new book The Handbuilt Home.

Ana started from scratch teaching herself the skills necessary to build furniture and she's sharing all her tips, tricks and 34 new builds in this book.

If you have a saw, drill and that DIY initiative you too can build any of the pieces from Ana's book.  And believe me you're going to want to build every single piece.

Here's The Farmhouse Headboard from the bed plans on page 136:

I actually made the headboard for Ana to use on set while she was visiting New York City for a TV segment, see it there in the background:

It's super fast, easy and portable.  Here's Ana carrying one of the legs earlier that morning to get the headboard to the TV studio:

You can imagine I was over the moon when I finally got to meet Ana in person, here we are the night before the TV shoot:

Another great plan from the book are the kids Adirondack chairs on page 179:

I had made these last Spring and they were also part of the TV spot.
See the host below sitting in the kids size chair!

They're so great I even made a set for my own kids:

You definitely want to win this book so you can make each and every wonderful plan.

That's why I'm giving away TWO copies.

And if you don't happen to win you can always purchase Ana's book here.

To enter the giveaway simply leave a comment below and be sure to include your email address.
(Must be a US or Canada resident.)

TWO winners will be chosen on Friday, Nov. 16th, 2012.
Good luck.
